This page explains what personal data this website collects, why, and what your rights are under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR.
Who is responsible
Tikka Studio is responsible for this website. You can reach us at tikka2008@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Your project brief. The form on our homepage does not send anything to our server. It opens your own email app with your answers filled in. We receive only what you choose to send us by email: usually your name, email address, company and project details.
- Server logs. Like every web server, ours records technical data for each request: IP address, date and time, page requested and browser type. We use these logs only to keep the site secure and working, and delete them within 30 days.
Cookies and tracking
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Our fonts are hosted on our own server, so your browser does not contact Google or any other third party when you visit.
If you save designs with the heart button, the list is stored in your own browser (local storage). It never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
Why we use your data
We use the details you email us to reply to your enquiry and to prepare a quote (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b), steps taken before a contract). Server logs are kept for our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f)).
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for as long as we are talking about a project, and for up to two years afterwards unless you ask us to delete them sooner. If you become a client, we keep project records as long as tax law requires.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or share your data. Our email is provided by Google (Gmail), and our website is hosted by our server provider; both process data on our behalf.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct, delete or export the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email tikka2008@gmail.com and we will reply within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
